Time Goes By…
May 22, 2011
So today I’ve added some lovely fabric to both Ebay and Etsy, so go on have a look. ;O)
… and did I mention I’ve sold my 1st lot of fabric on Etsy too! I’m so made up. ;O) Fabric went off to a lovely customer based in Dundee. So not too far away, considering Etsy is very USA.
Some of this has already gone to Lancashire to one of my regular customers!
That’s all for now folks, catch you all again soon. :O)

Fat Quarter Swap
May 23, 2010
I’ve had so much fun over the past month or so with the Fat Quarter Swap organised over at Sew, Mama, Sew. It’s been one of my favourite blogs this year and have become an avid follower.
Roll Call so far…
April 28, 2010
… a few different places recently!
++ Hilsea, Portsmouth ++ Tilehurst, Reading ++
I better get a move on, not much fabric on Ebay these days… No sales on Etsy yet, for some reason I don’t do so well on it? Is anyone else like that???
Fat Quarters on the Brain :O)
April 27, 2010
I’m always on the lookout for a great wee read and it was through a Fat Quarter Swap with Katy, Brandie, Cynthia, Laurie and Rebecca @ SewMamaSew that I came across the rumours of a new e-mag – Fat Quarterly.
Today is the launch day and I rushed over to their Etsy Shop this morning and immediately ordered a copy. I wasn’t disappointed! It’s a mixture of Articles, Advice and great Patterns from the world of handmade. Did I mention some amazing Giveaway’s? Oops :O)
Check it out for yourself at Fat Quarterly.com.
The Creative Connection …
April 26, 2010
… a lovely article about Fresh Figs author Joanna Figueroa who is their featured artist.
The thing is, its all that lovely Creative Vintage fabric! It makes me smile :O)
A fabric collectors dream… http://bit.ly/97hpng
I’m sure a few of you will agree with me on this :O) Keep stitching everyone!!
MMmmmmm, a great Quilt-Along with Kaffe Fassett…
April 20, 2010
… as if I’ve nothing better to do these days! But it will use my Kaffe stash up nicely, really it will :O)
Its a simple enough design with not too much colour for those who fear colour combinations. I’ve always thought that yellow is one of the forgotten colours, as its not seen too often in quilts for some reason! Yet personally I’ve produced 3 or 4 projects using the colour, mainly given as gifts to friends :O)
Yellow Potpourri is perfect for beginners and a great way to introduce fussy cutting. If you’re not sure what fussy cutting is checkout Google. Check it out quilt folk!!
Busy Weekend :O) … the Roll Call for last week!
April 19, 2010
Back to the grind so to speak! A weekend of out and about keeping my other half occupied and fed, well fed he realised after some nice Homemade Meatball Bolognese yesterday. Got to keep my man happy :O) He was indeed.
… and the Roll Call for the end of last week :-
++ Marple, Cheshire++Lochmaben, Lockerbie++Cottingham, East Yorkshire++Worthing, West Sussex++
Chances are that most of these may have arrived safely, Royal Mail are doing alright so far. I’ve just a few International ones to get done today. Their sitting on my to do list right now, in a lovely pile of freshly cut fabric as I write :O)
The binoculars have been out, spying on all those birdies that have appeared recently. Lots of them, the feeder isn’t emptying so quick these days either!! Gus says its down to them nest building, although we have seen some fledgling Dunnocks already. We even have a local Woodpecker giving us some calls in the local forest near our house!
So the week is starting to brighten, the sun is out and I better make a visit to the Post Office. Get my motor running, toodlepip :O)
